First Tooth

Evan is getting his first teeth. 

The first to poke through was on January 22nd

We were getting our hair done and I reached into his little mouth and could feel a pokey little bump. SURPRISE!!  His first tooth. 

Treasure this Time

I have been really trying to take time to slow down and enjoy this time with Evan.  He is growing so fast and I want to remember and cherish it all.  Today he drank from his bottle all by himself.  When I think of it this is actually a really big accomplishment and it is incredible that he has learned this skill.  He just lays back, holds on and chugs.  

We also took a shower together today.  While we showered I gargled the rushing water and then spit it out.  Evan thought this was so great and wanted to try for himself.  He shyly stuck his face into the water and let the little drizzle into his open mouth.  He then looked at me as if to say "look mom, I am doing it also".  What an adorable moment.
